Josh Cote’s South African Experience: Leadership, Inspiration, and Gratitude

Josh Cote recently returned from a trip to Sun City, South Africa, where he took the stage at a high-impact business event. From the moment he arrived, the energy was undeniable—vibrant and forward-thinking.

He commented, “I love visiting SA, I have been speaking at this conference for over 15 years and it never disappoints.” The journey to Sun City was filled with positivity and enriching experiences.

Award Ceremony: Honoring Emerging Entrepreneurs

A standout moment of the trip was Josh presenting the “New Business Owner of the Year” award at a The SA Sales Awards ceremony. Surrounded by ambitious entrepreneurs brimming with drive, he was reminded why EAW Consulting continues to champion new talent. The new business owners bring enthusiasm and passion that is infectious to everyone and creates new competition to drive the industry forward.

Recognising their hard work and dedication was an honour and a reminder of why EAW Consulting remains committed to nurturing new talent.

Leadership Conference: Sharing Insights and Building Futures

The following day, Josh had the privilege of running a Q&A at a Leadership Conference. Addressing a diverse audience of aspiring and established leaders, he discussed  the nuances of effective leadership, team building and recruiting top talent.

He engaged the audience in discussions about the importance of adaptability, encouraging innovation, and building cohesive teams. The interactive nature of the session underscored the universal challenges and triumphs leaders face, regardless of geography. For Josh, engaging with such a dynamic group reinforced his belief that leadership is about continuous learning and growth.

Downtime/Experiences.

Of course, not all lessons are found in the office.  Personal time with your team and sharing new experiences is key to building strong, trusting and lasting relationships. Josh comments:  “We hired a private Gamedrive into the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve which was an incredible experience to see 4 of the The Big Five animals; lion, elephant, Cape buffalo, and rhinoceros.  We missed out on the Leopard, next time! We also played on the Gary Player course which host the Ned Bank championship; bucket list events which were so special to share with our team. Looking forward to returning next year.”

At EAW Consulting, Josh and his team are passionate about translating such insights into actionable strategies for businesses and individuals alike. For those looking to grow their businesses, EAW Consulting is there to guide them every step of the way.
