BREXIT: REMAINING RELEVANT IN A FINANCIALLY UNCERTAIN LANDSCAPE

EAW Consulting is thriving alongside Brexit and has brought customers to businesses, even during economic uncertainty.

While most wouldn’t associate the final month of the year with political votes, on December 12th voters will head to the polling stations for a general election. They will have Brexit in mind, and most likely be voting for the outcome they wish to see regarding the U.K.’s place in the European Union.

The last thing anyone wanted was the economy coming to a grinding halt, and many businesses are close to panic.

As a result, finding new growth models that can be clearly tracked and connected to customer acquisition is a priority.

Currently, many business owners in the U.K are not able to make confident decisions due to the uncertainty that Brexit holds over the future. There are big risks associated with where money should be spent. Businesses and investors are looking for low-risk options that won’t incur negative financial repercussions if the deal proves to harm the economy. Aside from slowing down expenditure, entrepreneurs are reluctant to risk coming into a market that had an uncertain future.

For EAW Consulting, the question was: how can we acquire customers for businesses who are not willing to invest large amounts upfront in doing so?

Josh Cote, Managing Director or EAW Consulting, built a network of specialized sales agents who could go out, find their target customers and deliver them to the client.  Between 2008 and 2010, they saw their fastest growth rate. What was being offered was very attractive: Risk-free, no marketing or advertising costs and high-value performance numbers from the sales team. Businesses pay on what is produced.  “This means we do the hard work for you, and you only paid on the delivery of a new customer. It is hugely attractive because it safeguards your business and ensures that all your marketing revenue is concentrated solely on creating tangible figures” said Josh Cote.

Over the past 10 years the Sales Consultancy has been in hot demand.

“Brexit, is another one of those economic conditions that shakes up the market and has filled our sales pipeline – more and more businesses are looking for low-risk options for customer acquisition” added Mr Cote.

EAW Consulting ideal prospects are companies who are looking to grow, fast. They are typically able to invest £3-5million in customer acquisition per year and will already have a steady customer base but are now looking to amp up their sales to the next level.
