Successful entrepreneur Josh Cote wows business owners with a speech at a leadership seminar that took place at the weekend in Edinburgh.
On Sunday 7th February entrepreneur and businessman Josh Cote hosted a leadership seminar at the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa in Edinburgh. The objective of the seminar was to motivate the UK’s leading entrepreneurs and business professionals within the sales and marketing industry to ensure that they have the tools and knowledge to become better business leaders.
If a person wants to succeed in the business world, then it is essential that they become an effective leader. A successful business owner needs to be a strong leader to get their team on board to execute their vision of success. A great leader will have their eye on the horizon; and will plan goals and direction for which the business must move towards.
Forbes.com reported the findings of a study that analysed a substantial database of 50,000 managers and how effective they were to increase company net income. The study, commissioned by a division of a Fortune 500 commercial bank, found evidence of a dramatic effect leadership effectiveness had on the net income of a business. The results showed that if a business is able to develop leaders who inspire individuals to perform at a higher level, then the organisational productivity and profit of that business is likely to increase by a substantial amount. In conclusion, the study found that good leaders create more economic value than poor leaders and extraordinary leaders create far more value than good ones. It found that few investments would pay off as handsomely as the choice to develop great leaders within an organisation.
