Josh Cote of EA Worldwide Acquisitions Explores Successful Habits of Billionaires

Josh Cote, a highly successful entrepreneur, motivational speaker and business owner of EA Worldwide Acquisitions has further explored the successful habits of billionaires to demonstrate how anyone can be successful if they want it enough.

Josh Cote believes that habits transcend business to personal spheres of life and have a huge role to play in a person’s success. He also argues that any number of bad habits can delay or even completely halt a person from finding success. Cote was inspired by a recent article on LinkedIn that illustrated the successful habits of billionaires, after Paul Carrick Brunson spent time working with Enver Yucel and Oprah Winfrey.

Brunson suggested that his previous education almost seemed redundant after spending time with successful billionaires, as he learned more than he could ever have imagined. He also explained that, although Oprah Winfrey and Enver Yucel were two completely different people, they shared many of same successful habits. Indeed, EA Worldwide Acquisition’s Managing Director Josh Cote is also a firm believer of the notion that developing successful habits drives success, and has highlighted some of the practices Brunson identified that he agrees with:

Investing in yourself

Josh Cote believes that many people think highly successful people might take their foot off the gas once they have ‘made it’ so to speak. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth, as the pursuit of constant self-development is the single most important trait that billionaires like Oprah Winfrey and Enver Yucel had over the duration of their careers. Brunson suggests whether it was a new language, exercise, social media classes – it helped them become wiser, sharper and stay fully focused.

Surround yourself with ‘better’ people

Brunson explains how Oprah Winfrey and Enver Yucel never kept anyone less-than-stellar in their inner circle, and Cote believes that by surrounding themselves with a dream team of minds they avoided developing bad habits. Josh Cote believes that it wouldn’t be wrong to imagine this as an entrepreneurial representation of the Harlem Globetrotters, and it is easy to visualize how this keeps billionaires on track to enjoy further success. Brunson embodies this mentality perfectly in the quote from Jim Rohn that a person is ‘the average of the 5 people they spend the most time with.’

Always be curious

Brunson and Cote both agree that successful people are forever examining the ‘hows’ and ‘whys’ of processes that occur in every day life, and attempt to find alternative ways around obstacles that others wouldn’t think of challenging. Indeed, what the average person sees as mundane or overly complicated is not viewed the same way with a billionaire mindset. Brunson explains that he once had a 30 minute conversation with Enver Yucel about the height of the curbs in Washington DC versus Istanbul, and Josh Cote believes that this curious nature is a trait that all pioneering billionaires would have adopted on the road towards their success.
